Open to all ages and abilities, wheelchair basketball is a team sport that follows the same principles as basketball using a sports wheelchair.
There are fun, recreational sessions provided by community clubs, right the way through to competitive leagues and competitions.
British Wheelchair Basketball runs a popular Women’s League, where a huge community of female players come together three times per year to play. Come along to find out more about wheelchair basketball, and to see some players in action!

Clothes you feel comfortable getting hot and sweaty in, and a wheelchair. Some clubs will provide a sports wheelchair for you to use. Check with your local club before you go along.
