What is it?
Dodgeball is a fun, fast and furious sport, which sees two teams trying to eliminate opposing players from the game by hitting them with a soft ball. The opponent can eliminate his counterpart by catching the ball, which also brings an eliminated player back into the game. The winning side is the one which either eliminates all the opposing players or the one who has the most players in the court after a set time period.
There are local and national variations on the sport and there is no set court size, number of players per team or duration of match. Typically the sport is played on basketball or volleyball courts, but it can be adapted for a football pitch and the beach. You can even play while bouncing, thanks to the growing number of trampoline parks.
