Active Newcastle International Women’s Day
Celebrating the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote, Active Newcastle created an evening activity event on International Women’s Day for women. The event consisted of a 5k walk, jog, run or cycle around Exhibition Park in Newcastle and was a great success with loads of women motivated, inspired and participating in the event.
Charity Night Out
Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport (LRS) are hosting their forth Charity Night Out in support of This Girl Can and local charity, Look Good Feel Better, who provide free skincare and make-up workshops at Leicester Royal Infirmary which supports hundreds of women and teenagers living with cancer. The night encourages women and girls to try a variety of activity sessions, learn more about living a healthy lifestyle and taking part in a mass Clubbercise session to end the evening – all for a good cause!
